Editor Lloyd Vance caught up with Donovan McNabb recently at his All Star Football Camp to find out how he feels going into the 2007 season.

July 2007

Everywhere that I go Eagles fans want to know will QB Donovan McNabb be healthy and ready for the upcoming season. No one has a crystal ball, but I have a feeling that McNabb aided by the Eagles new "Ground Marty" rushing attack will answer his critics that say he is washed up after being hurt 3 out of the last 5 years, ending two on I/R (Remember he had 2647 yards and 18 TD’s in 10 games in 2006).

I recently had the chance to catch-up with Donovan at his  All Star football camp for kids.  I asked Donovan the candid questions that everyone wants answered and he was more than accommodating in talking about his new public image and his knee.  In looking in his eyes and by his demeanor, I could see that he is committed to his rehab and he will have a chip on his shoulder going into the 2007 season.  Well you can hear it for yourselves by  Downloading  BPR68 - McNabb Interview.

The event featured football skills training,  developmental coaching, and off the field life skills talks delivered by NFL greats Eddie George, Tory Holt, Tommie Harris, Jeff Garcia, Brian Mitchell, McNabb, and others.  The kids got to experience superstars upfront and personal and find out how football equates to leadership on the field and in life.  I thoroughly enjoyed the event and the interaction with the players and kids was awesome.  Thanks to Tara Prieto of CSMG, Rich Burg of  Five Star Unlimited, and James McCormick of NFL Films for making the event enjoyable for myself and BQB-Site.com
